Plans
A commission plan can be configured as a default plan for a brand. However, you can configure multiple commission plans which can be assigned to affiliates and products to override a default plan.
There are 3 types of commission plans that can be configured in Affelios.
Cost Per Acquisition (CPA)
Revenue Share (RevShare)
Hybrid
The ability to create and manage multiple commission plans allows you to cater to diverse affiliate preferences, giving you the flexibility to be more competitive and meet evolving business objectives.
Configuring your Plan
You can create and configure your plans within the settings menu of your Affelios dashboard. You can create a new commission plan by clicking the "Add Plan" button at the top right of the page.
Cost Per Acquisition (CPA)
A cost per acquisition is a commission fee paid to an affiliate once certain triggers are met. For example, if a user registers to your site, deposits, or makes a purchase, then you pay a fixed fee to the affiliate for that referral. When configuring a CPA commission plan, you can set up specific requirements like deposit, net revenue, or if applicable, wagering requirements. These must be met before any commission is paid.
You can optionally setup multiple CPA levels so that after certain requirements are met, additional commissions are paid.
Revenue Share (RevShare)
A revenue share plan will calculate a percentage of revenue to be paid as a commission. When configuring a revenue share plan, you can set up levels, so that once certain targets are met, a higher commission is paid.
Below is an example of a 5% revenue share deal, with 10% being offered on any revenue exceeding £100.
Hybrid
A hybrid plan allows you to set up a combination of a cost per acquisition and revenue share to calculate commissions.
Overriding a Plan for a specific Country
Once you've created your plan, you can then edit the plan by clicking on the "Edit Plan" button on the Commission Plans page.
Once youre on the plan's editing page, you can create country overrides by going to the "Country Overrides" tab, and clicking the "Add Country Override" button on the top right of the page.
