How to Configure Your Program
Setting up an affiliate program can seem like a daunting task, but Affelios aims to make this process as easy as possible. To get started, you will need the following:
An Affelios Identity Account

Configuring your system
The "Admin Email From" field is the email address you'd like to use for sending admin notifications from.
The "Accounts Email From" field is the email address you'd like to use when sending affiliate notifications from.
The "Administrator Email" field is the email address you'd like to use for handling general administrative queries.
The "Accounts Email" field is the email address you'd like to use for handling general account queries.
The "Terms URL" field should be a link to your affiliate program's terms & conditions.
The "Privacy Policy URL" field should be a link to your affiliate program's privacy policy.
The "Base Currency" field set's the base currency of the platform and is used to calculate all commissions and payments.
The "Auto-Approve Affiliates" field can be enabled if you wish affiliates to be automatically approved allowing anyone to become an affiliate within your program.
The "Clean Slate" field can be enabled to reset affiliate balances at the end of each period. This is also known as "No-Negative Carry-Over".
The "Organic Tracking" field can be enabled to create a default tracker that attributes to it new customer and transaction data where no tracking information is available.
Choose Affiliate Payout Options
You'll need to configure the payout methods you support by enabling the ones applicable to you. The affiliate is responsible for choosing their preferred payout methods when registering with your program.
You'll also need to configure your tax-specific settings in accordance to your requirements.
Setup a Custom Domain
Setting up a custom domain is optional, but highly recommended.
Start by clicking the "Add Custom Domain" button
Then, type in the hostname you wish to use for your program and click "Next step"
You'll then want to add the specified DNS records to your domain. This could take a while to update, but once you have validated the records by clicking the "Validate" button, you can then hit the "Done" button.
Once you are happy with your domain configuration, mark this step as completed.
Set up your commission plans
If your program requires more bespoke plans to be assigned to specific affiliates and brands, then this can be configured after the quick start guide. In this case, you can just go ahead and mark this step as completed.
Create a Brand
Creating your brand will require you to provide a name, the industry your brand operates in and 2 parameters relating to integrating Affelios with your brand.
The "External ID" parameter should be some identifier in your system that identifies this entity in Affelios.
The "Landing Page" parameter should take a link to your brand's website including parameters required for Affelios to track sales and such.
This field provides the ability to insert the "ClickKey" token which is passed back to Affelios through integrations. You should input the URL of your site with the parameter it expects, here are a few examples:

There are several integration options to choose from, before proceeding with this step, it's highly recommended that you follow the guides specific for your integration needs.
Upload Media Assets (Optional)
Uploading media assets can be extremely valuable for affiliates who want to promote your brand. By uploading assets that they can use on their websites or apps, you're providing them with content that helps them, help you.
Configuring a custom landing page for each media asset will give you full control over where a user is redirected on an affiliate's site. So if this URL changes, there's no need to bother the affiliate to request a change, everything happens automagically thanks to Affelios!
Create an Affiliate
Creating an affiliate is optional, but can be useful in certain cases. As an example, you could create an internal affiliate for tracking in-house campaigns and such.
Add a Traffic Source (Optional)
A traffic source allows affiliates to add their website, social media, or any other platform that drives traffic to brands.
A traffic source gives affiliates and program operators the ability to gain valuable insight into how valuable traffic is from a particular source.
Once a source has been added, you can optionally verify it by either adding a TXT record to your domain's DNS records or by configuring a meta tag in your website's HTML markup.
Add a payout option for your affiliate (Optional)
If your affiliate is an internal affiliate used for traffic social media ads and such, then you can skip this part.
If you are setting up an affiliate on behalf of an affiliate, then you may want to add a payout method.
Create a Tracker
A tracker creates a tracking link that can be used by affiliates to navigate traffic from their site to your brands.
Trackers can be used to create links specific for individual pages on your website, marketing campaigns and more!
Invite users to help manage your program (Optional)
Complete your setup
Click the "Complete Setup" button to finish setting up your program.
You are now ready to start using Affelios.
